Thai Association of Air Quality, Climate, and Well-being (TAcWell) is coming soon

We are excited to share a major achievement in our efforts to manage air quality sustainably - the formation of the Thai Association of Air Quality, Climate, and Well-being (TAcWell). This union has been formed by combining two esteemed entities: Thailand network center on Air Quality Management (TAQM) and Research Unit: HAUS IAQ. Since TAQM inception in 2017 under the auspices of the Center of Excellence on Hazardous Substance Management (HSM) at Chulalongkorn University, TAQM has steadfastly pursued its mission of fostering sustainable air quality management through collaboration and knowledge exchange. Its objectives, which include the establishment of a robust network of air quality-related agencies and the transfer of knowledge to various stakeholders, have guided our efforts and yielded remarkable successes over the years. In 2021, the formation of the Research Unit: HAUS IAQ has marked a pivotal moment in our journey, as it focused specifically on indoor air quality and its implications for human well-being. As our teams collaborated and shared insights, it became increasingly evident that our collective impact could be significantly enhanced through synergy and collaboration. Therefore, we are delighted to declare the establishment of Thai Association of Air Quality, Climate, and Well-being. This partnership combines knowledge, assets, and commitment from TAQM and Research Unit: HAUS IAQ to improve air quality management and overall community well-being. By integrating our efforts and leveraging our collective strengths, we aim to address the complex interplay between air quality, climate change, and human well-being comprehensively. Through interdisciplinary research, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy, we will strive to create healthier, more sustainable environments for current and future generations. We wish to convey our sincere gratitude to all individuals who have contributed to this journey, such as our partners, collaborators, researchers, and supporters. We are excited to begin this new adventure with you, as your dedication and commitment have been the foundation for this groundbreaking project. As we start this expedition, let's confirm our dedication to working together, being creative, and striving for excellence.
